E500 - 2005 (Japanese Import)
E500 2005, strange wire in centre console

Hi everyone. I am new to this forum, as a matter of fact this is
MY first ever post. I have recently imported a e500 2005 from Japan. While playing with it i managed to change the system language fine, however i am looking for a solution to BT my iphone 4 with the command. I have seen several forums discussing about the pucks and cradles..... However in my car, there is no cradle... If i open the console all i see is a telephonish type thick spiral wire with a dock connector. I will post a picture of this tomorrow.

I was wondering if the pucks directly plug into this connector or is a bracket of any sort required??

Thanks for the support

That looks like the Cradle Eliminator Cable mentioned in #2 in the thread I linked to (above.)
It was designed to plug the V60 Blutooth puck into the system without the use of a cradle.

Again, read that thread.

Say Kevin, are there any good threads he could read that might supply some additional information?

FYI: the sarcasm is a friendly needle towards arsalan, not at kevin.
