Program american keys in european car?
Hello guys,
I own a mb w210 320 cdi (European model), when I bought it had two keys, one the original and the other like the ones had the w209 or w211 postrestiling.
After that I bought two American keys thinking that I could change the case cause in the Station model there are only 2 buttons, but it´s a different key. The thing is that I´m trying to buy a c3 pro star diagnostic or so. Could I use this program in order to reprograming the keys?
I think that keys have different frequency, the European 433 and the American 314.998 is a problem? Can I still configure it?
With kind of star diagnostic do you recommend me, for changing the transmission oil, restart the instrument, measure the injector and so.

A US key (314 MHz) would not work in a European car (433 MHz). You cannot program a used key with SDS to your car (if the key is from MB, you don't need any tools).
Be careful with the C3 options, the more sophisticated name the product has, the more likely it is a crap tool (that needs fancy sales names to attract buyers who are not familiar with the options).
