I have 2008 ML320 with HK. I am planning to upgrade speakers. I am wondering if somebody can give me update for size of current speakers front and back (6 1/2" or something else).

Based on size, I am planning install Focal or similar brand (I don't want overspend but buy something decent).

Please let me know ...

6 1/2 and any tweeter under 1 3/4" will work

again 6 1/2 factory tweet is 7/8th of an inch but anything under 1 3/4" will work in the tweeter position

Could you please recommend some speakers in above size ? I am looking for Focal but in some regular class. I was told that Focal could be too deep and not fit in hole of existing speaker but ...

I'd consider other brands as well.

The other day I drove new Audi and I liked sound ....I don't sleep in car but I'd like have some decent.
