Address Book Download Question
Hi everyone,
We purchased a CPO 2010 R350 with 13,000 miles on it yesterday. It's like brand new! We're very excited and glad to have a Benz in the driveway again. Personally, I'm really excited to be back in the forum. I've always enjoyed participating in this community!
I have a address book download question. My partner uses an iPhone 5 (running iOS 6.01). His phone is set to sort and display contacts as First, Last name. Yet, COMAND is downloading the contacts as Last, First name which is forcing my partner to say "Smith, John" when he wants to dial by name.
Is there a way to fix the problem? I tried searching the forum but "name" and "address" are too common so the search engine is not yielding results.
Any help is greatly appreciated!

Nevermind. I read the COMAND manual wrong. It's in there: if first and last name are listed, first speak the surname, then the first name; SMITH, JOHN. Kinda f'ed up if you ask me!
I have an idea for a workaround. COMAND allows you to save name tags for names it has difficulty recognizing. I'm gonna save name tags with first/last name for most frequently dialed numbers. That should help.
