Drive unavailable - temperature too high
I have a 2010 GL 350 bluetec. Was on a ski trip up to Winter Park and got a message on the command screen that said: "Drive unavailable - temperature too high". We were at about 9,500 feet and radio, nav, phone, etc... Would not work. Turned the command system off for about 15 minutes and still had the same message on the screen. After skiing a full day, started the car up and everything worked fine with no messages on the command during the drive home.
I am thinking this may be altitude related as we had only been driving for 1.5 hours when this happened and have taken several long road trips (13 hours plus) at low altitude and have never had this happen. Has anyone had this happen?
