Need B67855856 cell phone puck got my '04 S55. All help appreciated.

 

Forum search may help you locate the actual part. You may also benefit from finding a STAR bulletin that fits the S-class. Below is the bulletin to the the w211 E-class series. Unless you vehicle is already set-up with COMAND and version coded, you may need version coding from the dealer or qualified indy. I used the instructions to install my puck unit then took the vehicle and STAR bulletin to the dealer to show what needed to be completed. This was completed by the dealer at no charge to me since I had done the install work myself. It's not difficult, you just need to locate the part.

 

Bump - anyone have one for sale?

 

The same puck is used on many models - doing a search for the part number on all open forums would expose you to many more posts, and might give you a lead. And of course, there is always eBay...

 

Thanks for the feedback. I did as you suggested and found all the posts. Strange enough they were all my posts. These pucks pop up from time to time because as mentioned before they are used in many models. Sooner or later hopefully I'll get lucky and find someone wanting to sell one.

I used it with my iPhone 4S and it worked perfect! Even pulls phonebook in the Command and work nice with steering wheel controls.

Was thinking of selling the other one on Ebay as well, but let me know what you can offer.

No problem. It actually just sold for the same amount as the last one.

I believe these were around $260 new but command a premium because they are plug-n-play and work great with iPhones etc.

Don't expect to find any under that new price. You may want to consider this one:

I have just converted my SL from the COMMAND system to an aftermarket unit. I have a 100% functional MB "puck" that is for sale. Any interested people can contact me. I also have a 100% fully functional COMMAND system for a 2007 SL 550.

To mrbobby - this is OEM MB part B 67875878 - it fits practically everything MB has built the past 10 years - I had it in my 2007 - SL550. It seem sEbay is selling them $180 to $200 and above. I am going to list mine at $149 unless someone says they want it beforehand. Thanks.

 

I require the B6785585. I wish yours was compatible as the price is realistic.

I am still in the hunt as well. I have heard that a BMW puck P/N84110410144 will also work. Does anybody know if this is true?

 

MrBobby. I purchased the BMW version and have found that it will not work in my car. The BMW version will work in 1st gen M.O.S.T. cars like '03 E 4dr(not wagon),'04 E(4dr and wagon),'04 CL,and '04 S Class. Does that sound like your application? If so, I can make you a good price.

 

Can you send a close up photo, especially of the connector area? I have the original V60S cradle installed in my center console. Does this adapter slide into the cradle in place of the original phone? Please forgive the simple questions but I have no familiarity with this adapter.

 

I don't know your setup others on this forum probably do. I don't know how to post pictures. The item is now on eBay item #261182802833. I do know that the connections and external dementions are the same as B67875856.

 

I'm tempted and the connection looks close, but I think I'll keep looking for a Mercedes puck. Thanks Bob
