W203 Changer in W210 ?

'97 E200, '06 E350 & '23 E350
W203 Changer in W210 ?
Hey Guys, i have a spare W203(MY05) CD Changer that i want to retrofit to my W210 E-Class (MY97).

Now i know the Changer is Fiber Optic, but i was told that my Audio 10 Radio (K7) has a fiber optic input for the CD Changer, and that all that was needed was a fiber cable from the changer to the head unit.

Anyone can comment on that ?
