sadly these changer around that time are NOTORIOUS for this ailment. you can try disconnecting your battery negative lead and letting everything reset. this may require you to resync your radio (must have security code), seats, windows. so be sure you have this info on hand for your model. fortunately with the w210 it only takes seconds to reset
