I just acquired a 2003 C240 Wagon with the Bose system. The sales brochure states that this system has 10 speakers, except in the coupe. Nothing is said about the wagon. So, can I assume that the wagon, like the sedan, has 10 speakers? If so, do any of you know where the subwoofer is located? It is not readily visible anywhere in the car. I have read all of the posts about the Bose speaker system, but everything I have read thus far refers only to the sedans and coupes. Thanks.

Well I can't tell you much about the BOSE sub location in a wagon but to add to the knowledge base I can tell you with precision where the factory sub is in the cabriolet. The factory BOSE sub is approx 8 inches in diameter and in the cab is located behind the the rear passenger seat, directly behind the center arm rest. At the bottom of the center arm rest in the cab is the port for the speaker, a metal grill with the BOSE logo affixed. The speaker is mounted facing into the trunk, facing through a cut out in the trunk wall. Access can be had to the BOSE sub in the cab by removing the rear seat entirely. Hope that helps.
