I have scoured the forums on adding a sub, and couldn't really find an answer for my year car - I have an '01 C320 sedan with the Bose system. All I want is to add a sub in the trunk to supplement the factory system and leave everything else intact. I have wired my share of components over the years, but the Bose I believe is different due to fiber optics, speaker impedance, etc. I'd like to tap into (and disconnect) the Bose sub on the back shelf and use the high level signal for the new sub / amp, run a power lead to the battery for the amp and find a 12V source for a turn on lead. The car is 12 years old, I don't want to do any other modifications - this should be a fairly straightforward install, anything I am missing?
