SWI-CAN2 Stopped Working

SWI-CAN2 Stopped Working
Hello Everyone,
I have a w208, I've had a PAC SWI-CAN2 connected to a PAC-SWI-JACK for my JVC in-dash, and it's been working for quite some time. I pulled everything out this weekend to install a sub, now, I'm very well versed in electronics, I do technology integration for a living, so this was a fairly routine procedure for me. Everything went back together, and would not turn on. After a while I diagnosed that the SWI-CAN2 was not giving the remote-on signal, so I checked the fuse, it was fine, checked power to the unit with a multi-meter, +14.4v... Checked the connections at the CAN-BUS wiring, everything was fine there, checked ground, ground was ok (Everything is soldered)... I then checked the LED on the SWI-CAN2, nothing.... Has anyone had this issue before? Where it just fails? I bought it on ebay used, so warranty would be expired. Any suggestions? I'm thinking of opening the unit and looking for anything burnt.

So, I'd wrapped both boxes in fabric tape to keep them from tapping against something behind the dash and making noise, in unplugging everything, I swapped the harnesses (they fit each other) so, I had the harness from the swi-jack in the swi-can2 and vise-versa, swapped back, good to go.
