COMAND question

Quick COMAND related question for all of you out there

If I wanted to travel somewhere that's located on another COMAND disk, and input that destination, how would I do that? I'm going from Long Island to Ontario, Canada, and although I know the way there already, I would like to try the COMAND out! I can't put in the destination with my number 7 disk in, and if I put it in with my disc 11, it tells me there is no route guidance available. On my 01 740iL the nav discs come with all north american major highways on them, so no matter which disc I have in there, I'll always have directions on the highway....

anybody have a solution to this?

You may have to enter a half way point, and then change discs when you get there.

That's why I bought an aftermarket GPS (Garmin) that lets me store all the areas I want in non-rotating media. MB is way behind the curve on this one. Even the DVD.........
