Posted another thread after reading many threads regarding soldering AUX Cable on the Audio 20 HU, after opening it up couldn't find the same soldering points.

at this point i have no idea what options i have with the current audio system.
It's an 03' E240 Avantgarde with a built in 6 CD Changer ( button under Hazard ).
can i retrofit an aftermarket pioneer / kenwood unit?
All i want is a stupid AUX input rather than using cassette>AUX or FM Transmitters![wwf](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/chairshot.gif)
Please Advice !![bow](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/bowdown.gif)

yep, search opti1 or opti-1 in this section. I might have one laying around somewhere
you will need a mounting kit (might have that too)
Antenna adapter (I have)
Antenna extension (have it too)
plus whatever radio you use, I might have a kenwood dnx570hd or 770hd laying around new in the box
damn, I have some gear laying around ... better start cleaning it out before it becomes antiques
