Comand Fiber Optics?

Question Comand Fiber Optics?

Hello group I have done my best to search within the forum/google/other forums and I cannot find a even close answer.
(I may very well be wording my query wrong) :/

I have a 2005 e320 <w211> 4matic (Canada) I am looking at an aftermarket radio option which has adapter which just plugs into the existing system no mess, however it is not compatible with fiber optic connections. Without taking the unit out of the car how can I determine if I have it or not?

My Comand does not have HK or CDC or NAV or Sat or bluetooth or iPod or DVD, it is bare bones

I assume it does not and I get the impression Fiber is related to HK setups but I am not sure.

The fiber ring (MOST) is there regardless of COMAND you have. Some info:

There are products that interface normal audio units to MOST (which is an industry standard). These guys should be able to help:

use the opti 1, i is the only interface out there to add audio. these guys a good bunch of people that I highly recommend.

should take you 10 minutes to hook up to your new radio
