Speakers wiring
Hi
How is the wiring on a w211 audio 20, i ask because i'll get a JBL ms-8 as sound processing unit, and want to know how are wired the center and front speakers and tweeters.

Replace factory. But keep stock head unit. I plan on putting comps in front probably going active, rear will be coax run from hU, don't really care about rear fill but like to have it for rear passenger, center channel as par of a 3 way system if it's possible and 2 10" sub in the trunk.

this an 06? the headunit or COMAND is junk. usually the speakers and amp are fine in that vehicle but the headunit sucks, look into the opti1 on here and also comand replacement, it will sound way better. also aswc1 steering wheel control module.

Ask pinebaron, but I think the front are full range and crossed over passively on the tweeter. center can be as simple as just summing it left positive and right negative...I have all the info on my other PC which I dont have access to it currently and it is not hooked to my onedrive

all 211's prior to 2009 have the audiogateway in the trunk, the front display is just aux/cd and they are connected via a most optical cable. plus it is less than half the power of the factory amp. get rid of it.
