2007 reverse/backup camera issue

2007 reverse/backup camera issue
Help needed, it all started when I replaced the remote control battery's for my over head DVDs unit . The next morning I came out to start the car and the battery was flat. So charged the battery , all good , put car into reverse and no camera , didn't even show anything on command just the audio info. I have checked everything and have taken it to a mechanic with star and its says camera active on command . PLEASE HELP ME I don't know what else to do!

aftermarket integrated system or from the factory installed? back in 07, I would populate pins 1&8 or 7???!!??! and code camera on... just pull the comand and disconnect power to it, maybe shoot a pic of the wiring behind it and post it here to see if it is factory. most likely disconnecting power at the comand will solve it
