2005 CLK fiberoptic question
hi,
i have a 2005 clk 320. the car doesn't have any Sound system, or CD changer, TeleAid, Satellite radio. so nothing on the fiber loop.
i'm trying to install the bluetooth kit, and I noticed that the fiber optic cables are not powered up. No lights when you start the car.
so, I hooked up the UHI module and the Bluetooth puck and the plate that goes in the center console, but the puck is not powering up.
Is it common for cars with no options on the fiber loop? I was told that dealer has to program and lit up the fiber optic cables.
is that the case? or am i missing something?
