NTG 4.5 aux video successful
2012 W204 NTG 4.5. Multimedia Package (320). This package includes COMAND, voice control, and Rearview Camera. Media Interface Plus is NOT installed. Media Interface cable is installed. This cable has two input connectors: 30-pin iPod/iPhone and 3.5 mm Aux. No modifications installed in car (completely OEM).
A TRRS/4 conductor/4 pole 3.5 mm cable and a player capable of video out using the 3.5 mm jack is required. There are a few Android phones that do this. However, I'm using a Nokia N9. A Nokia N900 also worked. The cable I bought was from Best Buy in the US
The screen is mirrored, so everything from apps to movies will play with video and sound. I don't have a video in motion bypass installed, so the car must be in Park. Rearview camera continues to work as intended.
