Help with instrument cluster???

Hopefully someone can help me out??? I have a 2003 Clk 500 I bought it from a guy that had it sitting for months.

When I bought it the battery wasn't that good and needed to be jumped and recharged twice. On the drive home they came on for a split second then shut off, twice in about 15 minutes.

I replaced the battery and the alternator, and the instrument lights came on. as I was cleaning the car up I seen it had 4 codes. One did read display dysfunction visit work shop

My question is would this be because it's been sitting and it's taking some time to reboot itself or does Mercedes need to reset it or do I need to replace it?

I forgot to mention all the warning lights work. When i turn the key on all the warning lights are here. But the message center the engine temp and the gas doesn't work. The rpms and the speedometer needle does work...

Any suggestions?
