Radio Button not working w204 2011 C250
Hello Fellows,
So I have decided to remove my radio last week from the Mercedes 2011 C250 W204 , but things went wrong. Instead of removing the radio unit I have removed the font face, the black face that is attached to the front surface of the radio. I put everything back and radio buttons has stopped working .. Can someone advise me on what to do ? Also, can the unit be repaired ? went to the dealer and they have told me to that whole unit would need to be replaced.
Thanks in advance.

pull out the whole radio, take apart the face and ensure the ribbon harness is connected to the front panel. I forget if it is ribbon harness or plug, been a while since I took one apart.

Yeah I figured it to be the connector... though i can honestly say i never done anything like that to one
I will look in my stash tomorrow evening. If I do not have one with the pins on the same side, is there enough room so you can fold it over on itself otherwise they would be 180 degrees out and it will burn up. Also i might not have the exact pin count, it would be more, so you will need to trim it down.... and finally... it might be longer so you will need to fold it. If I do not have one that will work, call Jim at access1alarm.com, he should have something close, because they do video integration over there on the MB's.

Same problem but ribbon still attached
I have been searching high and low for a fix to this exact problem however my ribbon is still attached to black facia piece. I'm assuming I need to get it to where it inserts into sliver backing? Any assistance would be greatly appreciated!
