W220 Radio/Nav upgrade Options
01 s500 I want to replace my command Unit I went upstate and tried to use my navigation and it couldn't even find the town. I want a better navigation and Bluetooth music streaming what are my options

Kenwood, Alpine, JVC and Pioneer Nav units with a good stereo shop. Out of all of them i would wait for the new Kenwood with AndroidAuto and CarPlay which should be shipping soon as they have the best ease of use and our modern.

Obviously they don't work that well to begin with. Your radio is over 16 years old, meaning that if you had a child when you bought the vehicle, it would be driving it today legally. I used to do high-end audio back in the day and in 01' I was replacing the MB COMAND systems on new vehicles. How are you going to bring it up to current standards without replacing it? Find a good stereo shop in your area and let them go at it. I have friends in the business all over the world, where you located? I might no someone I would be willing to state my reputation on.

I'm a certified technician for Chrysler or system are similar in a way so I'm gonna be doing all the work myself just wanted to obtain some info from the forum before I remove this bs system lol
