No audio in the first few minutes of driving
Hi, I'm having this weird problem with my 2015 E-350. Right from a cold start, no sound comes from the speakers. The Comand system is up and running and it's not muted, and I can switch between the radio, CD-player, navigation, hands-free phone, etc and turn up and down the volume and they all look as if they are up and running but nothing comes out of the speakers. Then after 5-15 minutes of driving, the speakers start on their own (and if it matters, the sound doesn't start abruptly, but it fades in, similar to when you normally turn on the system). I already had one trip to the dealer. The tech was able to reproduce the problem, but they didn't get any error codes and just did a software update and sent me on my way but the problem is not fixed.
I know that these types of electrical issues can be very difficult to diagnose specially when they are intermittent like my case and they might take several attempts to fix, but with an extremely busy life, I was hoping that someone here might have had the same issue and could help me.
Since the speakers start working after a few minutes of driving, I'm thinking it might have something to do with the batteries (main or auxiliary) or perhaps some failing electrical components that need to warm up to work, but I love to hear your thoughts and advice. Thanks!
EDIT 1: Btw here is the initial service note which didn't fix the issue: RAN SHORT TEST NO CODE FOUND FOR AUDIO CHECKED FOR TIPS AND FOUND LI82.85-P-057192 UPDATED COMAND (A40/3) PER LI. CHECKED SYSTEM AFTER UPDATE AND CHECKED OK OUT

Try the audio without your iPhone. I noticed that the new iPhone IOS will sometimes activate Siri "accidently" which tended to mute my Comand audio. Only seems to happen with the latest Apple update. I'll have to try it with "Hey Siri" off on my iPhone 6s but just haven't had the time and the problem is intermittent.
