2004 CLK Cab
Sirius OEM radio installed

Just got my 2004 CLK cab (w209) back from the dealer with the OEM Sirius kit installed.

I can tell you that it works with the COMAND navigation system.

Also, the antenna installs under the trunk lid, so there is no external antenna.

So much for the doomsayers who claimed that it would never be rolled out or that it would be delayed until the fall. While availability seems to be trickling out at this point, it's nice to have a confirmed install. If you can Craig, do us all a favor and post some pics when you get a chance. Thanks and enjoy!

BTW, could you let us know the price paid for the install? Thanks again.

The dealer charged $695 for the hardware, which included activiation and 12 months of service.

How much did the labor cost?

I had a deal with the dealership for the labor, but I think they are expecting to charge about 1 1/2 to 2 hours of labor for the installation.

I had satellite radio installed on my CL today, but the system does not pick up the satellite signal. They think it might be a faulty antenna... ..Hopefully it will be fixed soon !!!

Can that black antenna be painted to match the color of the car?

Yes, I had mine painted to match the brilliant silver. It's holding up well.
