W203 NGT2 COMAND swap for after market head unit
Hi,
I am thinking about taking out my NGT2 COMAND and repalceing with a more modern head unit, Apple play, better nav rear camera etc.
My COMAND has the bluetooth module and the ipod adapter and the green fakra for aux video input. but I think it needs updating, after looking around for AV input adapters for the unit (coming in around £250 for rear camera input plus aux video) then still have the old nav and phone system plus not very good ipod connectivity.
So I thought might as well just go for a new unit, the thing is what sort of integration will I get? As my COMAND has all the info on the dash cluster, will a new unit do this? If so has anyone got any recommendations? Is there any resale value in the old COMAND and its accessories?
