Alarm problem 98 C43 AMG
I have a big problem with my alarm.
Usually when I lock the car the turn signals fash 3 times and then the car locks.
Now somehow they don't flash at all, the car just locks if I press the lock button.
HOWEVER, alarm will go off after about 2 minutes and then come off every 30 seconds or so.
Can anyone please explain to me what the problem with it is?
I have disconnected the battery and will try it again tomorrow morning. Maybe it'll work. Otherwise I don't even know what to think

Maybe a faulty door pin switch or trunk switch, although that is unlikely to go bad.
If the car senses a door open it will lock, but not flash the lights three times. Sounds like that is happening in your car, and there is a faulty contact somewhere that makes the car think the door is being opened with the alarm system armed.
