Stuck with a StarTac?

Stuck with a StarTac?
I went to get a phone installed in my wife's MY2000 E320 Wagon and was told that the only phone that would work is the StarTac. I thought that the TimePort phone was also available for this MY? Anyone have any insight on this, because I have heard that the StarTac is just way outdated. Thanks.

As of right now the Startac is the only choice for the 2000 models..... However.... A new/udated PSE is in the works suposedly to allow 2000 model year vehicles to bridge the gap to a Timeport / V60 ...

I had a StartTac for a while and they are actually good phones. Timeport is better but also is a bigger phone. I think that your wife would be happy with a StarTac. Maybe I am wrong just my opinion.
