note 8 is not recognized by gle.

note 8 is not recognized by gle.
I have new note 8 phone. Able to pair thru blue tooth. Make phone calls. Problem is while trying to use android auto. when i connect the phone with usb cable,comand says "no device connected". android auto is not displayed in the car's display system .any idea?

Have you made it work with a different phone? Common errors i've found amongst our customers
a) Plugged into wrong port. One has a picture of a phone, it needs to be that one
b) Car has Audio-20 and not COMAND
c) Car is early NTG5*1 system and doesn't have the option - can be retrofitted
d) Car has CarPlay but not Android Auto - this is because Android Auto spec requires at least a 7" display and cars like SLK display too small so no Android Auto
