W210 CANbus Turn Seats On??
hey guys,
hoping someone one can help out (don't mind paying for your time).
i picked up a set of seats from a 1996 E320 W210 merc to use in a landcruiser project. The seats are in great condition and come with the 10 way adjustable settings. I have made up a frame and bolted them into the landcruiser and sorted most of the wiring but I can't get the seats to move... apparently they are waiting for a "power on" signal from the CANbus/ECU.
As I don't have access to the original merc I'm hoping someone knows what code is sent to turn everything on.
would also love some recommendations on what hardware I can buy to send this signal.
I know I am asking a lot but this CANbus stuff is totally new to me and until I get it sorted the project is sort of on hold.
