Voice Commands '04 E Class
I have voice commands available for my phone, radio, cd, cd changer which work perfectly. The dealer installed Sirius Satellite into the car using the "factory" stuff, and it seems as if there are NO voice comands available for satellite radio. If I am listening to satellite and I say "telephone", it switches over to phone mode, when I am finished with the phone, and I say "Satellite" it doesn't recognise the command, yet it does recognize "Radio" or "CD Changer" or "CD"...so it looks like there are NO voice commands available for the satellite portion of the system to change stations or simply to return to the satellite screen sfter using another application...am I correct?

I don't recall reading about any voice commands in the manual that pertain to the Satellite portion. Don't forget, the manual was written & printed before the satellite kit was finalized & made available, and it's only an option in the USA.

If the manual being written and printed BEFORE the satellite kit was available is a problem, then why does your COMAND manual have information on the satellite button?
If the system could be planned ahead to have it, the manual could be planned ahead to deal with it.
Sorry I tried to help by suggesting you use the "help" command or look in the manual. You won't need to be bothered by my responses to your posts anymore.

Unfortunately there is no voice command for Satellite, AUX, Map or Navigation on the North Amerian COMAND.

Feel free to post or not. W210's post immediately above, however is concise, and loaded with information even though it is only one sentance.

However, sometimes when you read a 3 1/2 inch thick pile of booklets over a weekend, one might miss a fact or two.

For example, I never quite understand completely what 'function surround lighting' means. I believe it is the command that controls whether certain exterior lights will come on automatically when you unlock the car in the dark, never had time to go around to test it.
