swicthed POWER HELP

I need to hook up a dvd player to the command and have no idea where to get the power from,


can i cut a wire out of the back of the command or use the power fom the tuner?????

NEED HELP SOON

GL320CDI / C63 Edition 507 Coupe (EDP) / E63 S (on order) / G500 / Smart Brabus
Switched power = back of lighter socket

I think you might not have gotten a response before because this was covered in the past... a search might have helped!

thanks, i was not really sure what i was looking for....

now i do...

What is better using the fuse block in the back or the lighter...or is it the same thing??????????????

Just use the power connector running to the lighter... it is normal spade connectors you can get anywhere (even in Oz I hope!) and tap into it. The lighter outlet is already fused so if you're just using it to power a DVD player or something, it should be fine.

thanks thats what ill do then, i dont think ive ever used a ligher in my life in the car
