SD Card for music in 2016 E350 Sedan
Greetings,
We just bought a beautiful 2016 E350 Sedan for my wife, and would like to use the SD card slot in the dash for music. Unfortunately, the otherwise very detailed owners manual includes no details about the SD capabilities. My questions are:
1) what kind of SD card can we use? Standard SD cards are hard to find anymore--most common are SDHC, but one thread about an earlier model E-class mentioned that only standard SD cards will work. Is that still true with 2016 models?
2) what capacity of SD card can we use? The threads I've found from earlier models mention that nothing bigger than 2GB will work. It's tough to find that size card anymore.
Before buying different sizes/kinds of SD cards and putting music on them, I'm hoping to get an answer--instead of relying on trial and error. Any insights would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance for your help.
