Fault - COMAND & Inteligent Lights (Linked issue?)

So when I start the car every now and then I get the COMAND flash a message 5-10 times that it is turning off (it never turns off) and then my warning on the dash the Adaptive Main Beam is in operative.

What is the likely cause? thoughts??
