V60 integration question....

V60 integration question....
Hi -
May have a problem - not serious though. I have the integrated v60 phone w/vcs. Phone works perfectly but one oddity. When I shut off the car and leave the phone in the cradle (say running into a store for 10 minutes) - when I come back, the phone is in some weird state. I won't re-activate in the cradle and if I take it out, I physically have to take out the battery in order for it to reset (power on). The phone does not display anything on the screen until I take the battery out to reset it. I tried playing with the car setting timeouts of the phone itself, but it does not seem to help. Any ideas?

it may be a loose power connection to the cradle/handset. I had a similar problem with mine and when I took it back to the dealer, I saw them adjust a loose connection and everything has been fine since

I had the exact same problem. Whatever actually caused the problem, here is what they did. So far, so good; its been behaving normally for a week:
Replace V60i cradle with V60s cradle (which apparently was not out in March).
Replace phone.
Replace V60i cradle with V60s cradle (which apparently was not out in March).
Replace phone.

Update - they replaced the v60s and the problem went away. Also, there is a firmware upgrade for all v60s due out next week. He (the tech) also mentioned the v600 coming our with a new cradle. He was pretty sure it would be a retrofit - but he was not certain. He claimed about 3-4 weeks - at least that's what the bulletin said.
