cd changer install
how do i reinstall my cd changer?? it used to work before i had an aftermarket deck but now switching back...it doesnt even turn on. it is an alpine chm s620 or something like that with a Blitz safe adapter. its just plug and play but now its plug and dont play. can anyone help? thanks

If we are talking about the C36 here then the problem is that your DIN-C connector has been corrupted in some way and is no longer in the correct arrangement.
There are 3 bulky connectors on the back of the radio. Make sure all 3 are plugged in.
Any mercedes technician can tell you if the cables to the CD player have been cut, since the #C connector deals out the power to the player.
If you have power and no sound, should still be the same deal.
I presume that your CD changer is in the trunk, so you might need two people to test it.

thank you miroj! yea the problem was not all the connectors were connected. I never saw them install or unistall my old deck so i have no idea that there was a 3rd connector that was plugged in. Now its all working. =)
