2019 GLC 300 Coupe
about Mercedes Me remote start engine
Hi guys, my car is 2019 GLC Coupe, it come with Mercedes Me.
I don't know it's my setting mistake (but I couldn't find any setting option) or just its design, the remote engine start function is not that make sense.
For example, I want to warm up the car, and remote start the engine, but when I use my car to open the door, it unlock, but also turn off the engine!
Or, if I use APP to start the engine, then use APP to unlock the door, then it turn off the engine as well.
Maybe it's for security, but it make this function useless, isn't it?

Normal, when you open the door it shuts down, not matter how you do it. You have to restart it from inside the car to have drive off authorization.
