Comand turns of and then back on intermittently!!
Hi Fellow MB owners, I have an issue with my 2015 W205 Comand System (just out of warranty!!). The screen "goes off" intermittently (every 40sec or every three days - or somewhere in-between) - No radio, NAV, etc but can change temp of A/C (but screen still blank). Also, the back-lit icons around the touch controller turn off. This doesn't happen when manually turning the screen off using the power button - these lights stay on. Any ideas for a quick "reset" of the system rather than an expensive trip to the dealer..? Feeling a bit deflated with this fault as I also have a 2000 SLK which has been faultless in all the time I have had it... hope I haven't just jinxed it! Thanks for any help.

probably needs updated firmware.
my 2015 was doing simliar things and after reading on here and some members pointing me to certain posts I concluded I needed update.
HAd dealer update and troubles went away.
TO reset though hold radio power button in for 10-15 seconds
