After market TV tuner for Euro Command 2.0

Can someone recommend a good after market tuner to add on the Euro command 2.0. I plan to replace the MCS unit in my US spec 2003 163. Having trouble identifying proper pins in unit socket for correct tuner installation. Also, has anyone connected the VES OEM system to the command?

...............You cannot connect an aftermarket TV tuner to your Euro Comand, period. End of story. Don't get lost listening to claims and counter claims without substantiation.

..............You can Connect an OEM MB TV tuner or you can use an
Megacom adapter. If you use the MB TV tuner, then you don't care about after market brands. If you use the Megacom adapter then you can connect, ANYTHING!! with an RCA input to the adapter. Again, brand will not matter. However you slice it, the brand name of the aftermarket TV tuner is totally unimportant.

If you get the Megacom adapter do you still need to get the dealer to re-program the car?

Why waste time, money and energy on a NTSC TV Tuner when the analog signal will disappear soon and all legacy tuners will no longer work?

You have until 2006 to enjoy the current signal.

Unless you can get a digital tuner, you're throwing good money down the toilet.

The NTSC signal will not disappear in 2006. You are misinformed. Also, a TV Tuner gives you two additional AV inputs that can be used for a DVD changer, PS2 and other devices.
