2009 C300 Aux cable broken
Hello all,
My aux cable was working fine for two years, but in the last couple months it started throwing a lot of static issues while listening to music, today it became unbearable so i decide to read the posts in this forums which lead me to open the panel to discover that the cable was broken and the brown wire disconnect, Now, i don't know if the previous owner had it installed or broke it during installation but i presume the brown cable is causing low volume and static issues.
I found a similar cable for cheap and i was thinking if i should just cut the cable midway and replace the head connector or i should replace the old cable with the new one? how hard is it to replace the whole cable as i can't see where it connects.
