E class 350
n00b Android Auto question
I will soon be purchasing a pre-owned 2010 E-class 350. My current vehicle has an after market Kenwood head unit which supports both Apple Carplay and Android Auto. I've grown accustomed to tethering my Android in order to access Waze, Spotify, messaging and call control. I have read several threads where it seems replacing/upgrading the Command system in the 2010 350 to support Android Auto is not an option. I have also seen a number of purportedly E class compatible "Android 9.0 Car Radio with Bluetooth Wifi GPS Navigation Systems" on Amazon. These Android systems to not appear to be Android Auto compatible, but running the Android OS.
Would anyone be able to advise if there is any hope for me to upgrade or replace the current Command system in order to introduce Android Auto compatibility?
