Mercedes Me - system issues

Not sure where else to post this so here it is 😊
Lately, say past 3 weeks, Anyone having system login issues, erroneous valet notify messages, etc?
It has been getting bad to worse ... 😕

Yes, zero connectivity for me for several weeks. Seems to be most prevalent east of the Mississippi and north of the Mason-Dixon. This is extensively discussed on this site at this time.

FYI - I finally had to call to find out whats going on ... despite no notices received about it, a "system maintenance"
is going on, supposedly till friday or saturday (??!!)
Explains why even app access is *denied*

I've been having the same sort of problems for several weeks now. Some of the app functions appear to work on the surface, but they don't seem to be actually communicating with the car. The Driving Journal feature cannot be deactivated or adjusted in any way (throws an error message every time), but it is not actually tracking the car's movement at all. All of the other features can be activated, deactivated, and adjusted, but they aren't actually communicating with the car either; when the car is started, no text message is received from the Valet and Curfew features.

I called Customer Service about a week ago and was informed that there is an ongoing problem with the app and they're working on it.

This is very frustrating.

the "mercedes me outage" thread is similar though that one seems more relevant to the me connect thing
i am still in the dark 2014 ages with the mbrace / me app
anyway bottom line the system is out and like me several members called and got the same response
saw yet another brand new post from europe this morning about no access ... seems it is indeed everywhere

my valet notifies have been "odd" since 03/01/16 5:07pm pt ... went from correct info to just correct time but erroneous or no location details
then since 10/24/19 5:04pm pt everything is wrong ... car " started on 08/16/1989 at 11:59:59pm gmt at ,. " so now wrong time and no place
and these are with just trunk or door openings, and many such messages come at odd hours of the day all on their own (like, huh?)
unfortunately tons of calls for fixes and updates have done nothing now for 1347 days (for the valet problems only so far)

every 30 days I verify the wrench and info button operations as i learned the hard way they otherwise drop the cell number active state (!) and
have to go to the dealer to reprovision the system from scratch so silly

guess we will all just have to wait till they restart the system after the overhaul ... they probably can't take my constant nagging? 8-)
naaaah ... most probably this was long overdue what with all the issues the past >3 years

dont mind paying for a safety and security related service ... but geewhiz come on it should work, right? heh

It's back up in Indiana. I completed a remote start successfully. It was down for 10 days for me.

as of today 1:48pm pt login page is working again
just tested locate that works
also reset valet lets see if that still goes crazy
(got 11 erroneous valet notifies which started 7:25am!)

Back to not working in IN. Likely MB is not paying the service provider for sufficient bandwidth during peak demand times, such as work day mornings in cold climate regions. Poor show, Mercedes.

Mine said it was "down for maintenance" all day on Friday (11/8/19). It came back up around midnight, but everything that was non-functioning for me before is still non-functioning. The only new thing I noticed is that they have now added the original owner's lease information to my profile.

I still can't deactivate or make any changes to the Driving Journal feature, but even though it says it's active, it's not - it hasn't recorded any activity since October 22. In addition, the Speed Alert feature also says it's active, but it hasn't recorded any activity since October 22 either.

if i listed the diagnostic troubleshooting trail over the past 72hrs you'd cry with me ... 8-)
guess i will be bugging them (again) all week until everything gets fixed again (last time everything worked was before mar.2016 good grief!)

I called Mercedes Me Customer Support last night. They acknowledged that, despite last Friday's "down for maintenance" day, the system is still majorly jacked up. When I reported seeing the original owner's lease information in my account, the rep feigned surprise and suggested that they'd never seen that before until I mentioned the news stories from earlier this year about the same issue. She also told me that, although the Mercedes Me website and app are MB products, they get all their data from mBrace, which is a third party product. When I suggested that they find a new vendor or bring this in-house, she said "We already have - that's why 2019 and newer models have a different telephone line". I then asked if they could move the rest of us over to the new app and she said no, because the older cars don't support the technology used in the new ones.

Back up today. I successfully completed a remote start. The app has a difficult time logging in. It requires close to a full minute to connect the first time.

good golly molly ... seems we still have a long way to go 8-(
the "2019" and "telephone line" comments are interesting ... the supposed move to at&t ?
seems like the head unit firmware levels are jumping a little quicker now with mbux being deployed
on my end the valet and locate setups are really messed up ... valet turns itself off right after setting it on
and the locate time history is many many hours off ... good grief

bothered customer assistance again
initial interaction is benz reps then get transferred to mbrace techs
they are aware of the multiple valet / locate issues
odd thing is for the first time in 5.7 years diagnostic pings yield no response on their end (timed out)
even though my app is indeed accessing the car just not properly
have them checking for any further 2014 ntg4.7 ota updates (only had 1 update back on 4/20/15)
the saga continues .....

As of this morning, Driving Journal is still not working, Curfew Minder has stopped working, Speed Alert and Travel Zones have started working, and Locate Vehicle thinks my car is still at home, even though it's currently at my office.
