2020 C63S Coupe, 2021 Bmw X5M Competition
Subwoofer installed
Finally had a chance to get my subwoofer installed in my 2020 C63s coupe with Burmester.
I went with JL Audio 12w6v3 and JL Audio HD 750/1 amplifier with JL Loc22 line out converter. Don’t use the Audio control LC2i as I’ve used it on multiple platforms and it never sounded right to me. Bass was always uneven at different volumes. Loc22 makes the bass very linear.
Overall very happy with this upgrade. Next in line.
Replace all speakers to Eton speakers and use Audison AP F8.9bit. Plenty of power for all the speakers and since the floor subs are 2 ohms, they’ll get 130w each. I’ll probably get the floor subs to only play down to 80hz and get the 12w6 to play everything under.
