USB In Place Of CD Changer

Hi everyone,

I recently purchased a 2005 CL 600 which the CD changer appears to be disconnected and somehow a USB port installed in the glovebox. There is a USB drive with six folders of music files labeled CD 1 through 6. Does anyone know how this was done and how to create more? Also, I would like to have a Bluetooth or Auxiliary input jack if anyone can share how to do either. Thanks in advance!

Most likely that was done with something like the Dension Gateway 500. If it was, there is also an iPod interface as well as an analogue input for an Aux jack. I have and have installed many of them.

Dension also makes a BT unit, but if your car is D2B instead of MOST ('05 is right on the cusp, so I'm not sure which you have), your options will be limited. I sourced many of my units from enfigcarstereo.com.

Thanks Floobydust, I will go look at it, the aux input would be great.
