Although I did start a thread in the W205 section, I want to pose this question in the general MB area of this forum. I was using a Blendmount radar detector mount from the rearview mirror in the 2017 Porsche 911 I recently sold. I know the rearview mirror in the Mercedes doesn't really allow for this type of mount due to the short stem. There was a member in the W205 section that mounted a bracket basically from the plastic box that is attached to the windshield in front of the rearview mirror. Are there any members that have solved this mounting dilemma? I really do not want to go the suction cup to the windshield route. I am looking for more of a stealth/clean look from the rearview mirror.
