The MikBox
Has anyone heard of/ used the mikbox. Its suppose to convert your regular non MB issued phone to an MBphone that you can use with your hands free system.

Mik shipped me a mikbox today, I'm guessing I'll get it early next week. I have the factory V60 setup and an MBenzNL COMAND system. I'll be integrating my V710, we'll see how well the install goes.

I got one and waiting for a coaxial cable to install it. I am missing the compensator to the antenna coaxial cable. I will be installing it on a 2000 Ml430, and I will post pics. I'll let you know when I get it in.

Almost done with my install, total time so far about 1.5 hours. But I'm a retard and broke something (my old V60 cradle circuit board), gotta order a replacement from Mik. Completely my fault, nothing to do with any defect or quality issues on Mik's part. It was an existing part I had that I messed up.
I did get the phone to connect, was able to place an outgoing call just fine. I have the factory V60 PSE, I'm connecting a Moto V710 to my car.

Everyone, I have a CLK500. I just recieved the mikbox from Mik yesterday. I installed it yesterday. For the CLK500 it was EASY. Since the PSE is in the trunk, it was easier to get too than most PSE's. I just plugged it inbetween the 25 pin connector and the Y cable. I think its the only one back there so you cannot mistake it for any other cable. If you are not sure, just play your cd player and when you disconnect this cable it should turn off. So basically you connect this box inbetween these two cables and BAM your done. I had a little bit of trouble getting mine to work at first and after doing some trouble shooting, i found out it was my phone. I purchased a new V60i and it works beautifully. I have not fully played around with it but its the coolest thing from the experience that i have had with it. Thanks MIK. This is a great product and I recommend anyone who wants an intergrated phone that doesn't want to pay for the outragous fee for the phone to get one of these boxes. If anyone wants pictures i can take pictures.

Thats the cradle. YOu need to get that seperately. Mik will provide that for you if you ask him.

not sure how much MB sells them for but they are relatively cheap. I got mine with the car so i am not sure about the prices. Mik from Mikbox.com will give you a great price.
