Bluetooth Pairing

How do I pair my new iPhone 13 Pro with my 2012 E350? My old iPhone 6S was paired quite well but I can't get the new phone to pair. When I go to System, click on bluetooth, activate bluetooth, it runs for a half a second, and then quits.

Don't know where you are located, but the owners manual tells you how to do that. Here are the US owners manuals online if you don't have the paper copy. Goes all the way back to 2012, so your car is covered.

Superswiss, thanks. The manual is helpful. It tells me to do what I have done already, but without success.

Then I'm guessing there's an issue with your system. Your car is quite old, so who knows, but you can try to do a factory reset of the COMAND unit. It might clear whatever the issue is.

Problem solved. References in the manual re Bluetooth directed me to System>Activate Bluetooth. But that is where I struck out. Instead of System, I should have simply gone to Phone and everything that followed was easy, and I connected.
