W209 radio removal?

What do you need to remove the stock radio of a W209 CLK? And instructions would be cool too. Thanks1

Off the top of my head: Torx 20, strong hands. There are 4 or 6 screws total in the process depending which radio you have.

If you search as amdeutsch has suggested... you might get more information. Let's admit it, we're ALL lazy here, and if you're too lazy to search, we're even more lazy to search for someone else!

I guess I don't have the search skills of some members. I couldn't find anything on removing a w209 radio. I would assume it's similar to the w203 removal, but the air vents are different. Anyone?

Yeah, the air vents are different... they are totally ignored in the whole process on the W209.

There's two torx screws at the base of the wood trim around the radio that need to be removed (prop the ashtray halfway open), then the wood trim piece should come out. You don't need to touch the air vent at the top. Get the wood trim out of the way. Then remove a couple more torx screws around the radio, and it should come right out.
