E320 1999 Aftermarket ground wire What?
I am replacing the battery in my recently acquired 1999 E320.
I found a large broken 2 conductor ground wire coming from under the carpet, up and over the rear seat platform and terminating to a bolt in floor in the middle under the rear seat.
Over time is it clear the rear seat chaffed and cut the wire.
Does anyone know what this wire was intended to ground?
