Navigation arrival time way off
Is anyone’s mb navigation time off? I’ve a ‘22 E350 and the arrival time for the navigation is, on average, 35-40 minutes late. And it’s late every time and always gets me lost. I’m using it in Los Angeles. Happening to anyone else?

I used mine last weekend for about a 30-minute drive to an area I wasn't familiar with and it got me directly there and back, at about the indicated times. Maybe it's something with the MBUX version; my car has the previous COMAND version.

I also have the latest COMAND, and arrival times, routes and traffic are pretty much on the money. It often has better routes than Google Maps. On labor day Google Maps took me on the worst route due to a road closure, so on the way back I used the MB navigation again for a much better route. How exactly is it getting you lost? Is it routing you to a different location than what you entered?

Perhaps a bit of troubleshooting might also help. Have you verified that your system has the latest maps? In my experience, these systems don't necessarily come with the latest maps from the factory. When I took delivery of mine the maps were two versions behind and within about a week I got two consecutive OTA updates for the latest maps, which among other things added new road construction that had recently been finished in my area.
If you login to the Mercedes me portal you can see if all the maps are updated in your car and if not you can download the update. You can also see your home region and change it if it's wrong. The map for the home region is normally updated automatically via OTA update, but I usually do the full update. I like everything to be up-to-date and the full update also updates the voice recognition, which the OTA update doesn't.

As far as MBUX is concerned, unfortunately it's on the buggy side, which is one reason I'm glad I've got the latest COMAND in my car. COMAND is very mature at this point, MBUX not so much. MBUX had a number of firmware updates to fix bugs. They are supposed to be pushed out via OTA updates, but some updates may be a dealer install. Worth making sure it's running the latest firmware.
