Anyone deal with bandpass boxes???
I am thinking of going for a more custom look by getting a Q-Logic Bandpass box, curious if anyone has any experience with bandpass boxes... how does the it sound? Does the bass get affected at all? Does the plexiglass or plastic vibrate and distort the sound? Thanks!

Bandpass box is very good for low end torque.....sorry wrong topic 
Seriously, bandpass box is good for low end bass, a sealed box produces less bass but it is crispier and more solid. bandpass it is good for Benzes because you can hear/feel it in the front easier than a sealed box. he only bad thing about bandpass boxes is that they are big! If you don't mind loosing trunk space go for it.

And they take a lot more amp power to power. I guess it depends on what kind of bass you want. If you want tight and crisp, go sealed. If you want boomy so people can hear you from 10 blocks away, go with the bandpass.

I have a sealed box with a JL 12" in my car and it performs very well. Like pocholin stated a sealed box produces solid bass. I think if you go this route that Q-Logic is a good choice. Let us know how it all turns out.

I had a bandpass box, but it took up entirely too much room. I had no trunk space and the sealed box got a much crisper sound. If you do a bandpass though, make sure it is to spec...anything smaller won't sound good.

the purpose of a bandpass is that it is very efficent with in certain range, but not good for pure SPL figures, and not good for quality SQ either, a regular ported box is better all around than bandpass boxes, even making it is easier
