Complete Audio Makeover W209
I'm going to do a complete haul-over on my Convertible's audio from In-dash media player to full components and rebuild of the tiny subwoofer housing assy.
Ex: 2005 CLK500 AMG aesthetic pkg. with Harmon Kardon audio pkg.
The audio does not get loud enough and the clarity is somewhat dated obviously (I have OCD and sensitive hearing) so I always tune for clarity. I know it is a CAN-BUS integrated system with a fiber optic communication line to the amplifier but I want to know if the whole audio system runs on 2ohm as a factory situation?
I am own my shop and on my own time work on audio builds so complicated advice is understood. I just want to know if there is anything that I will run into un-forseen that will add to the time to do this.
Obviously besides the HK woofer and the Center mounted tweeter.

- Touchscreen Media player with integrated navigation and satellite signal
- 5 channel pro amplifier
- Full wiring with possibly 2nd mini batt and 200a breaker
- full components with seperate tweeters and digi wave crossovers
- CAN-BUS adapter and signal interface reference box
